The song is about Beppo the Gnome running on the golden road to Sugarland, accompanied by his retinue of prancin' dancin' candy folk.
Towards the end he mounts up and rides a pink unicorn the rest of the way, but then he has a cardiac arrest and slows down, before he finally yields in despair, his pointy hat toppling over and landing on the border to Sugarland. :c
This is unnoticed by the others which is why the song merely slows down and doesn't become mellow.

Awesome, nearly perfect production and your transmissions and fills are still the best on this site. Great to see you come back with a song like this!

Relaxing DnB with some really nice melodies going on later on, and ominous droning and bass driven progressions in the start. I love it.
Upvote this every fucking day, those of you who have a shred of decency. Stuff like this should never ever get buried in the Portal.

Pretty clean acid house-ish stuff. You have a solid beat there, with good flow and samples. Just work on your progression. :D
I would definitively love this if you polished it up a bit and added more variation and fluff. The style is solid.

Haha, a song like this is the last thing I expected to hear at NG. Just wonderfully camp and spunky and refreshing.
I suggest you find a better bass guitar sample and work on your progression. Otherwise, wonderful stuff. :D

Man, awesome swell and melody in the beginning. It really sucked me in. I get some nice rave vibes from the rest, but it's not my kinda thing, really. Still, pretty nice production and ideas throughout, and the mellow break is pretty sweet.
Maybe slap on some more frills and details here and there, but it's rave after all. :)

Ah, yes. So wonderfully ominous. The middle was very climatic - in fact, the entire song had a perfect progression. I don't have a single complaint, apart from that it doesn't loop perfectly.
Author's Response:
Yeah, looping is always a pain with MP3. With the Newgrounds redesign they improved looping quite a bit, but it still doesn't work perfectly all the time.
Thanks for the review!

I think the best thing it has going for it is the beat during early progressions. It emphasizes the rhythm of the distorted synth and acid elements and was a real eye opener for me. :o
The panning and phasing acid elements were nice too. Classix Memoriez.
My only criticism is that the song could do with a bit better production on the most laden parts, but the song definitively doesn't lack clarity or depth. Looking forward to the next installments. :D
